Is Claude Cowork safe for my business data?

Cowork only reaches folders and tools you explicitly grant, and on paid business plans Anthropic does not train its models on your data. Safety in practice depends on the setup: scoped access, approval gates on anything customer-facing, and clear rules about what runs unattended. That design work is most of what you are paying for. We will not promise perfection, and Australian data residency is announced but not live today, so we put the real boundaries in writing.
