Claude Training • Australia
Claude training that sticks
Workshops and enablement programs that get Australian teams using Claude on their real work, with the governance and follow-through that turn a training day into a lasting capability.
The problem
Most AI training is a day of excitement, then nothing
Teams come back from generic AI courses with enthusiasm and a folder of prompts, and within a month usage is back to the same two people. The training was about AI in general, the prompts did not match anyone's actual job, and nobody settled the question of what staff are allowed to paste into a chatbot.
We train differently: one model, Claude, deeply, on your team's real work, with governance and a 30-day follow-up built in. Training is week one. The capability is what you keep. As a specialist Claude consultancy, we also stay around for the deployment side when you want automation, not just assistance.
Formats
Three formats, one outcome: a team that uses it
Executive briefing
90 minutes
For boards and leadership teams. What Claude can and cannot do, where the ROI sits in your business, the governance questions to settle before rollout, and an honest view of risk. No hype, no jargon.
Team workshop
Half day
Hands-on training for up to 15 staff on your real work: drafting, analysis, reporting, client communications. Every attendee leaves with a role-specific prompt playbook and the habits that make usage stick.
Cowork enablement program
2 weeks
The deep option. We set up Claude Cowork for your operations team, build the workflows, train the team on running and supervising them, and hand over a written playbook. Training plus working automation, not training instead of it.
What you keep
What attendees walk away with
A prompt library built on your work
Not generic templates
Role-specific prompts written against your documents, your tone, and your systems during the session. Your team finishes training with assets they use the next morning.
A written governance one-pager
What staff may and may not paste
Clear data-handling rules: what goes into Claude, what stays out, and how that maps to your Privacy Act obligations. The piece most training providers skip.
Playbooks and recordings
Onboarding that scales
Sessions are documented so new starters get trained without re-booking us. Everything we build is yours.
A measurement baseline
Evidence, not vibes
We baseline the time cost of target workflows before training and check back after 30 days, so you can see the hours reclaimed in plain numbers.
Tracks
Role-based tracks across the whole business
Operations and finance teams train on document processing, reporting, and month-end workflows. Sales teams train on research, proposals, and CRM hygiene. Leadership trains on review and decision support. Engineering teams take the dedicated Claude Code rollout track.
Teams ready to move from assisted work to delegated work step up to Claude Cowork implementation, where Claude takes on whole workflows under guardrails we design together.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Who provides Claude training in Australia?
Automata AI is a Sydney-based Claude consultancy that trains Australian teams on Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork. Formats range from 90-minute executive briefings to half-day team workshops and two-week Cowork enablement programs, all built on your real workflows rather than generic exercises.
How much does Claude training cost?
Executive briefings and team workshops are fixed-fee engagements, typically from around $3,000 AUD for a briefing and from around $6,000 AUD for a half-day team workshop including the prompt library and governance materials. Cowork enablement programs are scoped to your workflows. All pricing is confirmed up front, with no retainers required.
How is this different from a generic AI or ChatGPT course?
Generic AI courses teach concepts. We train your team on their own work: real documents, real client communications, real reporting. We are Claude specialists, so the training covers the features that matter in practice, including Projects, Skills, scheduled tasks, and Cowork, plus the governance side most courses ignore entirely.
Is a prompt library enough to get adoption?
On its own, no. Prompt libraries are where adoption starts, not where it ends. Usage sticks when prompts are tied to specific workflows, someone owns the rollout internally, and there is a follow-up checkpoint. Our format builds all three in, and for teams that want automation rather than assistance, we extend training into a working Claude Cowork implementation.
Can you train both technical and non-technical staff?
Yes. Non-technical teams get Claude and Cowork training on documents, analysis, and communications. Engineering teams get Claude Code training through our dedicated rollout service. Mixed organisations usually run both tracks in parallel so the whole business moves together.
What do we need to prepare before a session?
Very little. We run a short discovery call, ask for examples of the documents and tasks your team handles most, and confirm your Claude plan is appropriate. We handle the rest, including account setup guidance if you are starting from scratch.
